Airy is joining Confluent

We’re excited to announce that Airy has been acquired by Confluent, the world’s leading data streaming platform founded by the creators of Apache Kafka.

From day one, our mission at Airy has been simple but ambitious: to provide the perfect context for AI models at inference by processing data continuously.

We’ve built Schema Intelligence and AI Copilots to translate natural language into Flink SQL — enabling teams and AI Agents to understand, reason about, and act on data in motion.

Joining Confluent marks the next chapter of that journey. Together, we’ll help accelerate the convergence of stream processing and AI, enabling organizations not only to process data continuously but also to make AI Agents context-aware and event-driven — understanding schemas and ontologies, considering data lineage and governance, and making stream processing in Flink much more accessible through natural language.
